How can you find your self?

My statement to religious people; Your “I” is so important to you that you use so much energy and resources to secure it. Did you research and confirm that you are properly serving your “I”? Or did you accept something with “blind faith”? If you answer the latter, why are you neglecting yourself? If there is a G-d who programmed you he either gave you the tools to find yourself or doesn’t want you to know what you are. If G-d wants you to have blind faith then why would he care which religion you choose? A religion which demands blind faith and condemns those who choose another blind faith is hypocritical. I reject all such religions since it goes against the very cure of my “I” in this current reality. Such religions say that the “I” was placed into a reality where it can’t find itself. If that is true I should commit suicide to enter a reality where I could better understand myself.
If you want to remain in this world and be comfortable with you “I”, you must believe that it can be protected based on logical understanding.

My statement to atheists; you may not know G-d but you know your “I”. You know it is beyond anything science understands. You know it will continue. Don’t give up on understanding true reality because some preachers make no sense. The preacher’s mistake is they have “blind faith” which leads them to believing things that are completely illogical. Be better and find the real truth instead of giving up and saying there is none.

Are you eternal?

It has been difficult for people to understand the previous points. Many people think their “I” changes as they grow. People are so glued to their body that they think they are a body.

I had the same difficulty in my search. As time goes on I learn so much and I have so many new capabilities. I seem to be a different person then I was as a child. When I think I realize that my thoughts, abilities and looks change but I’m still me. I feel like screaming when people just don’t get it. “I” seem to have no connection to time or space. No matter how long I was or how many places I’ve been it was always me.

My hypothesis is that “I” am immortal. My proof is that “I” never change even though my body changed over and over again. The longer I know I’m me the stronger my proof. People could agree if it’s true by them too. If someone disagrees it is possible they don’t understand. If I’m wrong I give up on logic for 1+1=2 seems less realistic. If after death I continue, I will continue to prove myself correct. If after death I don’t continue no one will know I’m wrong and neither would I since I wouldn’t be.

The only thing I know is that I exist. The closest thing to knowledge I understand is that I’m eternal. After explaining myself I hope you realize that my proof is greater than any other proof known to man. I find it to be more realistic than all scientific conclusions.

I think people shy away from this reality since the “eternal” concept does not fit into their body. A body is limited to time and space. But yet when you dig deep you will find you also have an imagination about what you will be after death.

How long will your “I” exist?

Within nature everything changes. Some things grow and something decay. Even matter has a rate of reduction caused by subatomic particles abandoning their nucleolus.

Considering the fact that your body grows and changes but your identity remain constant, why do you think that your “I” will change when your body dies? It seems logical to say if identity is constant through bodily changes it will continue to be constant after the ultimate change of death.

There was an atheist who requested that after his death his favorite tree should be planted on his grave. He said he wanted to become the beauty of his dreams.

Would you urinate on a beautiful tree in order to become part of it? It seems that when the matter which makes up your body leaves you it becomes something else. It seems illogical to me that your “I” is anything physical. Then what is it?

Do identical twins feel one identity over both bodies?

Some people believe that their body causes them to exists. Every time I meet identical twins they seem to consider each other separate beings. DNA tests prove that identical twins have the exact same genes. The spooky thing is that identical twins actually begin as one, one egg is fertilized and then splits in two. If they have the same natural making, why don’t they feel they are each other?

Some people argue that the individual occurrences that each twin experiences causes them to separate into individual identities. If new experiences change your identity how are you still you? “I” went through major life changes but yet the changes happened to “me”. If the twins changed identity because of their contrary experiences, why doesn’t this happen to anyone else?

Terry commented in last post “Who is this "I", "Me", "Self", that exist?” my answer is I don’t know. It seems to me that it has nothing to do with any bodily functions as explained above.
