If ultimate world perfection has never been achieved then it is either impossible or no one has implemented a tactic of accomplishing it. If you want to achieve world perfection try something no one else has. Be original!!!

This is the best tactic I could think of. By encouraging people to find new ways of bringing goodness to the world I hope to enlarge the possibility of finding the best tactic. I hope it will be found and implemented very soon. This does not mean I will stop thinking about it but the larger the pool of thinkers the larger the probability of finding a solution. Please share your ideas!!!

If you believe you are eternal what do you gain?

After properly understanding your “I”, it is hypothetically impossible to understand anything about it. It is beyond time place and everything the human mind comprehends. We must however use our logical mind to figure out what to make of it. If you see a wall, even though it may be a figment of your imagination you won’t attempt to walk through it. Until we are given a better processor (mind) we must use the one we have to decide how to handle and protect our “I”.

I can’t find anything from within myself to advance my search for purpose. If you know something please let me know. My search moves on to the world around us.

Is the world telling us something?

Where did the world come from?

Throughout human history people tried to debate various aspects of the world. Some people thought that earth is flat. They were so convinced of their belief that they would not travel deep into the sea out of fear they would fall off earth.

All religions I know believe there was a creation. For years science believed this was a fallacy similar to the belief that the world is flat. Many scientists claimed that all matter continually existed but changed forms from one thing to the next. The big bang theory points to evidence that those scientists were wrong.

I don’t want to focus on the theories rather on their motives.

Why do religions feel the need to have a beginning?

Why did scientists originally reject the possibility of creation?

Are you eternal?

It has been difficult for people to understand the previous points. Many people think their “I” changes as they grow. People are so glued to their body that they think they are a body.

I had the same difficulty in my search. As time goes on I learn so much and I have so many new capabilities. I seem to be a different person then I was as a child. When I think I realize that my thoughts, abilities and looks change but I’m still me. I feel like screaming when people just don’t get it. “I” seem to have no connection to time or space. No matter how long I was or how many places I’ve been it was always me.

My hypothesis is that “I” am immortal. My proof is that “I” never change even though my body changed over and over again. The longer I know I’m me the stronger my proof. People could agree if it’s true by them too. If someone disagrees it is possible they don’t understand. If I’m wrong I give up on logic for 1+1=2 seems less realistic. If after death I continue, I will continue to prove myself correct. If after death I don’t continue no one will know I’m wrong and neither would I since I wouldn’t be.

The only thing I know is that I exist. The closest thing to knowledge I understand is that I’m eternal. After explaining myself I hope you realize that my proof is greater than any other proof known to man. I find it to be more realistic than all scientific conclusions.

I think people shy away from this reality since the “eternal” concept does not fit into their body. A body is limited to time and space. But yet when you dig deep you will find you also have an imagination about what you will be after death.

Do identical twins feel one identity over both bodies?

Some people believe that their body causes them to exists. Every time I meet identical twins they seem to consider each other separate beings. DNA tests prove that identical twins have the exact same genes. The spooky thing is that identical twins actually begin as one, one egg is fertilized and then splits in two. If they have the same natural making, why don’t they feel they are each other?

Some people argue that the individual occurrences that each twin experiences causes them to separate into individual identities. If new experiences change your identity how are you still you? “I” went through major life changes but yet the changes happened to “me”. If the twins changed identity because of their contrary experiences, why doesn’t this happen to anyone else?

Terry commented in last post “Who is this "I", "Me", "Self", that exist?” my answer is I don’t know. It seems to me that it has nothing to do with any bodily functions as explained above.

What do you know about yourself?

If the only thing that you truly know is that you exist, what do you know about your existence?

After contemplation on the only true fact you will realize that there is a tremendous gap between knowledge and assumptions.

After understanding the “I exist” concept some people return to tangible comprehension. People say “I know I exist and I can’t know anything else, shouldn’t I return to my regular senses? Without using my senses nothing seems to work.”
I previously mentioned that even logic is uncertain. We may be programmed to think the way we do.

Let’s face it, at the moment you are stuck in your program. You must therefore trust that 1) if there is a creator he gave you the tools to accomplish what you need. 2) If there is no creator you could only use the tools you have to figure out who you are.

What is the closest assumption to the knowledge that “I exist”? Is there an equal gap from ultimate knowledge to all logical facts such as 1+1=2? Or, is there a logical way to measure the distance between the ultimate knowledge and levels of assumptions?

Do you exist?

After years of thinking I came the conclusion that the only thing I know is that I exist. I found a famous philosopher who said the same thing.

"Cogito, ergo sum" Usually translated in English as: "I think, therefore I am", is a philosophical statement in Latin used by René Descartes, which became a foundational element of Western philosophy. The simple meaning of the phrase is that if someone is wondering whether or not he exists, that is in and of itself proof that he does exist (because, at the very least, there is an "I" who is doing the thinking).

Do you understand the depth of this statement? If you aren’t then you can be thinking, perceiving or believing that you are. The very fact that you think you are proves that you are.

Other philosophers take it a step further and say, you don’t need to think in order to be. You either are or aren’t. Thinking is a capability you have once you exist.

Do you know that I exist? Obviously not; you may assume that I exist since I have similar traits to you.

I know I exist but I’m not sure if any of you readers exist. The only reason I’m writing this blog is because I assume you exists since you appear to be similar to me.

Do You Know Where You Are?

I had a very interesting dream the other night. In my dream, I met someone I thought I knew. When I woke up, I couldn't recall ever meeting that person. After thinking about it, I am positive I have never met that person. Perhaps that person does not even exist.

Have you ever felt deja vu? This got me thinking. What if my life is nothing but a dream? Maybe this blog does not even exist.

Some people say that if you pinch yourself and it hurts, you're not dreaming. I tried it once in the middle of a dream and it hurt. After the conclusion of the dream I woke up feeling confused.

Is it possible that my entire life is a figment of my own imagination? Perhaps the sky, the trees and the people around me are part of a dream.

If a dream feels real while we sleep, how do we know we’re awake?

Do you know anything?

I know this sounds provocative, but there is depth to the question.
After discussing about atheists it appears that many people think that, 1) there is no proof that a deity exists 2) Science has disproven the existence of a deity.
What is proof?

People have different definitions of reality. People use different methods to determine reality.

What is absolute unquestionable reality?

This question is intended to reach the very core of your thinking process. How do you know that you know anything?

I split my thinking process into three levels, knowledge, assumption and belief.

Knowledge is absolute.

Assumptions are what you accept as reality even though there are doubts.

Beliefs are when you have little proof but you accept the concept as true.

Both assumptions and beliefs have many sublevels.

You could assume that while crossing the road you won’t get hit by a car, but it could happen. You assume that by getting a job your finances will be taken care of, but you could get fired.

You can believe that aliens occasionally invade earth but there is little evidence if any that they did.

My method is to put each concept in its proper category. If it is an assumption or belief I intellectually weigh it and see how close it is to absolute reality.

So, is there anything that people absolutely know? If yes, what? If no, what is the basis of weighing assumptions?

What is the difference between atheism and religion?

OK, I said the previous post was the last atheist talk, but I need to conclude the topic. After debating the atheist topic with many people I must conclude, that there are differences between religion and atheism.

Atheists unlike religious people;
1) Have no rituals
2) Have no defined belief
3) Have no peer pressure limiting their thinking
4) Majority believe their idea is logical, (many religions claim to be “faith”)
5) Are mostly willing to explore other possibilities

Any more?

There is still a major difference in not accepting a deity and believing there is
none.

Personally I didn’t always accept that there is a Deity, but I did refuse to deny that there is none. Many atheists whom I spoke to said, that they think the same way. For this blog’s sake I would like to rename such atheists to “soulsearchers” being that they don’t have an “ism” and are opened to thinking beyond what they know. I understand they don’t believe there is a soul, but at least they are willing to explore the possibility.
